    Cold Water Course

Posted by Kevin Fichtner on 2022 Nov 13th

I was not prepared for this course as it is much different from taking your open water in crystal clear glacier water or in the tropics. Practice wearing a 7 mill suit, hood and gloves. If you are in Jasper, the water is mostly clear. If you take it at twin lakes, its murky and I was not prepared for this. Cheryl was amazing in guiding me through my anxiety and keeping me come. I look forward to taking the course again and passing with flying colours in the spring!!
