The discover snorkeling course is a great way to learn how to use your snorkel gear in the safe and controlled environment of a pool, before heading out to the ocean. Designed for all levels of snorkelers, this course is a 1-hour session in the swimming pool with an instructor. You will learn how to properly fit and wear your mask, snorkel, and fins. As well as efficient kicking techniques, pike diving, and other skills that will make your ocean snorkeling experience more enjoyable. This is a great way to learn how to use all the gear before heading out to the ocean.
Important Details
- Lessons will be held at the Grant MacEwan pool (unless indicated otherwise)
- Lesson is approximately 1 hour in length
- Rental mask, snorkel, and fins will be provided however students are encouraged to bring their own gear if they have their own
