Online Training - Snorkeling

If you would like more information about snorkeling, SDI offers an optional online training course for a small fee that will provide you with more knowledge to enhance your snorkeling experience. The course takes about 1 hour to complete, and can be accessed from your computer or tablet at home, the office, or even on vacation. It is a great reference tool before and after your pool snorkeling course or before you head out on your next snorkeling adventure. Topics covered include:

• Snorkeling gear including mask, snorkel, fins, vest, exposure suits, weight, and accessories
• Marine environment including marine life and water conditions
• Physiology, breathing, free-diving, equalizing, physical exertion
• Snorkeling with a buddy
